Hand-colored frontispiece, iv, 84 pages. First edition. The Osborne collection lists a later edition, published by J. Baxter in Lewes 1809, as the second edition (page 145 under books of instruction.) The anthology contains excerpts from Goldsmith, Shakespeare, and others "which ma amuse the fancy, inform the understanding, and affect the heart." Cover rubb still a nice copy in a contemporary binding.
