First Edition. Three booklets, from 8 to 16 pp. each. 8vo. See individual descriptions below. Very good. Some minor toning, shelfwear, short closed tears at spines, but generally clear and bright. [2730]

Three booklets issued by Wilhelm Reich's Orgone Institute Press, two short bulletin texts and one catalog booklet of various publications available from the press. Individual items are as follows: [1] Oranur Project: The Orgonomic Anti-Nuclear Radiation Project (Oranur) by Wilhelm Reich; constitutes Orgone Energy Emergency Bulletin No. 1, December 1950. 12pp., letterpress on commercial stock, saddle stapled in printed self wrappers; [2] Publications of The Wilhelm Reich Foundation on Orgonomy. 16 pp., letterpress in blue on commercial stock, saddle stapled in stiff blue wrappers printed in black and silver. Advertises about a dozen separate books and serial publications, mostly by Reich and published by the Orgone Institute Press, each with short description, table of contents, and bibliographic details. The last publication listed in the booklet is the previous item, the Oranur Project bulletin. Also laid in to this booklet are two order blanks: one form for all of the publications listed in the booklet, printed letterpress in the same typography as the booklet, and one order form specifically for the Oranur Project bulletin, mimeographed from typescript; [3] Orop Desert, No. 2, March, 1954. 8 pp., letterpress on glossy stock, saddle stapled in printed self wrappers. Despite the title printed at the top, the contents consist of Wilhelm Reich's response to an official complaint filed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration against allegedly false claims made for his "orgone energy accumulator" device. A short letter by Reich addressed to the federal court judge in the case is followed by a longer response to the claims, and a reproduction of the text of the FDA's official complaint.
