A volume of mystical, devotional poetry by the Spanish poet and Jesuit priest Angel Martínez Baigorri, here writing as "Angel." Martínez Baigorri spent much of his life teaching and writing in Latin America, most significantly in Nicaragua and Mexico; the present volume dates from his period in the latter country, where he taught at the Ibero-American University. The book does not provide much bibliographic information, including credits for the religious illustrations which appear throughout which are uniformly signed but we could not identify; the cover illustration, however, is the noted German-Mexican sculptor Matthias Goeritz, who also taught at Ibero-American University, and is known for his collaborations with Luis Barragán. Rare: only three U.S. holdings, and six worldwide, on OCLC.
