Folio (17 3/8 x 12 ½ ); [13] leaves ; stiff faded peach wrapper with three punched holes with string, leaf border, decorative lettering of title to front, front table of contents listing 17 fashion designs, one lacking; stiff plates printed recto only, hand-colored lithographs of models wearing ball gowns; plates remain vibrant; chipping and creasing to edges, small closed tears, light soiling, plates pulling from string ties; very good minus.

A catalog of gowns produced by the Paris fashion house, Rêve, at the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th century. The house proudly announces that their address is close to Opera Square. Beautiful gowns for the fall season are illustrated in color. A front table of contents lists the designs and their fabric in French. A rear "Description of the plates" and "Beschreibung der Toiletten" provide the descriptions in English and German. A rare survivor.
