  • Condition: Very Good +

Ephemera. Very Good +. - TNS, dated 4/12/80. [9 x 14cm]. Stephen King notes Patrick Eddington's request for signed books, stating that the books have been sent. He also responds affirmatively to Eddington's request to enlarge excerpts from his books for an exhibit. Small spot of green ink above text.

- Typed note (unsigned) dated 3/27/81 [9 x 14cm]. King denies a request for manuscripts of his work, as he donates all manuscripts to his alma mater, the University of Maine. He is also unable to send a signed photo, as he is out of photos to sign. He mentions the cover of "Danse Macabre" (below).

- Signed dust jacket of King's 1981 novel, "Danse Macabre." King has signed the author photo on the rear cover and penned the phrase "Shine on!" The DJ is a bit toned and soiled. It has been flattened, and is stiffly creased along both the natural folds at the flaps and down the center of the spine.

- TNS, dated 11/15/82 [9.5 x 14.5cm]. Postcard for the 1982 horror comedy film "Creepshow," King's screenwriting debut. On the rear side, King good-naturedly informs Eddington that he can no longer sign books mailed to him.

- PS, dated 2/3/85 [20 x 12.5cm]. Black-and-white photograph of Stephen King and Peter Straub promoting the co-authored novel "The Talisman." Signed and dated by King. Corners just a touch creased.

- Promotional poster for "Fire Starter" and "Cujo" [22" x 15"]. Folded into quarters. With a bit of surface rubbing and a 1cm closed tear at foot. Patrick Eddington (aka "Pat the Cat") was a Utah artist and former high school art teacher, who spent over two decades corresponding with numerous artists and authors.
