Gorgeous and scarce picture book by the German designer Marie Neurath (1898-1986), known for developing, together with her spouse Otto Neurath, the pictographic language known as the International System of Typographic Picture Education (Isotype). In her later career Neurath applied the same fundamentals to create a series of educational picture books which were collected into an exhibition at the House of Illustration in 2019.
