United States: Good Year, 1966. Near-fine.. An amusing bit of tire marketing to women, courtesy of Good Year: "Dear Woman Driver: The first edition of Tire Talk for Women was published in 1961 to help women understand and care for the rubber doughnuts on which a car's every move depends. Since then, new and exciting things have been happening to tires". The pamphlet goes on to explain to do's and don'ts of tire care, tips for winter driving, and offers a chart for recording tire rotation. The highlight of the pamphlet has to be, of course, the many cartoon illustrations of women fawning over tires, and the one woman wondering to herself, "Why are they called tires? Of what are they made?" Single vol. (4" by 9"), pp. 16, illus., stapled in original green illus. wrps with image of a flock of women admiring a tire on the front.
