Quarto [2, blank], [vi], 134, [1, blank], [1, colophon] pages; forty full-page mounted color plates inserted throughout. Publisher's green cloth backstrip over patterned boards, front board and spine stamped in gilt. In the publisher's box and spiderweb glassine. Cloth spine lightly sunned; some light rubbing to binding. Endleaves foxed; some occasional foxing in text. Glassine is heavily worn and torn with several chips and some worm damage; front flap is missing. Box is worn and soiled, with a few joints on the lid splitting. A near fine book in the uncommon box and glassine (the box and glassine aren't mentioned in Latimore and Haskell). Latimore and Haskell p. 32.
