Manuscript cook book compiled by an unknown user in Mexico. Recipes start off written in close paragraphs, with some of the later entries in a more standardized ingredients-then-instructions format. Some of the dishes compiled here include Sopa de Cabeza de Carnero; Lomo con Vino; Asado en Vino; Ternera Mechada; Relleno de la Empanadas; Pan de Maizena; Pescado al Horno; Tortilla de huevos a la Mexicana; Hot Cakes; Queso de Puerco, and more. The later few pages of the volume were once used as a book for accounts, now crossed out but still legible, listing different grocery goods with prices.
