6.25" x 9.35" album with rigid boards and eight full-page examples of sea moss inside. Each sea moss species is identified in script, and a ninth page features a handwritten poem about the sea.

The front cover has another sea moss specimen, though this one is not identified. This specimen is slightly faded and there is evidence of a price sticker in the upper right corner.

There are remnants of a green ribbon that once held this together. The samples are in very good condition and are stunningly beautiful.
